News- Cartoonist Trivedi sent to Jail.

Do not think twice before you share any cartoons/pictures depecting the current political, social and economic situation of this country. Well and good if its in a positive note congratulating our politcal class and ruling government. You may not get a single like for you share for this but defenitely will be spared from banning your account or blocking your website. If you can post more comments or pictures depecting the

'acheivements' and 'sacrifice' of our current political leaders, well who knows, you may be considered for Padmasri or other similar award next year for your contribution to national integration.

As we have to take things positively, following Trivedi's way is also not bad. In jail you could get food and a shelter sponsered by our administartion. You don't have to worry about price rise, inflation, terror atacks etc. Where could you find a government providing so much protection and facilitie...s to its citizens even when speaking against the administartion ? Who the hell need the freedome of expression? By the

way Who said freedom of expression is not here .Government has the freedom to do what ever it likes once coming to power. It has the freedom to play cricket with a country which is continuously attacking us through back door. It has freedom to spend crores on a foreigner(aditi devo bhava) who came on day light and killed our citizens. It has freedom to send police men during night time to kill a peacefully held protest aginst it.It has freedom to make few bucks using coal, 2G , CWG (many more to come).
So my dear friends, go ahead and enjoy this wonderful time you are going through..

Cricket...

Its cricket & only cricket around for the last few weeks. Be it the news paper, internet, blogs or office cafeteria discussion.
The IPL might had been shifted to SA for some reasons, but it didn't have any impact on the way we are crazy about this game. Two matches almost everyday was a party time in the begining, especially during weekends. The organisers made it more interesting by having the necessary ingredients. The ZooZoo adds made it interesting and made even even non-cricket lovers to have a glance of the TV during IPL matches. The fake IPL blogs & fantasy cricket added the spice as well. In some extent it had a healing effect on recession for many!!!
But as the saying goes, everything gets bored after sometime. After 2-3 weks of continous cricket, the charm slowly went down. 6 hours of cricket everyday slowly derailed the day to day life. The real IPL fight between our politicians was missed to a great extent. The movies, songs, rumours in bollywood ..all took a backseat. The cricket was  too much that the real fun in life was lost.
Finally when the second year of extravagance was over, when we were returning to our normal life, when economics & politics again became the subject of discusion, there I see that the T20 worldcup is going to start from next week...Ohh god , what can I say...  But atleast it would be late night party  this time.. :)

Slumdog Millionaire = Iqbal = Swades...

With golden globe, 10 Oscar nominations , this Indian Hollywood movie is currently creating news across the world. I didn't want to miss this Oscar nominated movie & decided to be one of the first to watch it. I made sure that I get Into the "Millionaire" & not "Cororepathi" screen.
The movie is well above the masala movies bombarded by Bollywood. even though the climax is nothing exceptional, the first half has been superbly portaried with atmost reality which shows the real picture of mumbai slums. The child artists as the slum boys has been wonderful & no words are enough for the excellent background music from Rahman. Overall, It has been a movie which can be rated as one of the best movies I have watched ever. Still, there are some un answered questions which came into my mind when I came out of the screen. For me movies like Iqbal , Swades had been motivational & inspirational than slumdog. These movies also has all the ingredients of Slumdog except that it has been directed by an Indian, except that these movies didn't export hungry poor India. If Slumdog deserves a Oscar nomination, I feel these bollywood movies also do. What do you think?

The only silver lining is that only financial market is affected so far & this menance has not crippled into other sectors. Some experts say the worst is yet to come but others predict its a short term phenomenon.Whatever be the reason for this & its outcome, this situation is a wake up call for all those in service sector.
Most of us have a easy go type of lifestyle, may be its just the reflection of the confidence this sector has projected. We have helped the real estate market to zoom to an un predictable level in such a short time. Its time for all of us to forsee problems like this and act logically. Its the time to brush up your skills & to aquire new. Also we need to be more disciplined in terms of financial planning.Lets be optimistic in overcoming this hurdle & move forward with more confidence.Lets hope for the best & get prepared for the worst.
